What a world we live in. Everywhere you look, there’s hope-filled promise; and everywhere, great hunger, desperation for more. What do we do with all the pressing needs?

Could there be a simple, singular answer to the issues in our lives, for the world? Something that will lift us to a higher vantage point, bring everything into crystal clear focus?

Nineteenth century spiritual thinker Mary Baker Eddy’s words ring out:

“What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace,
expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds.”
Science & Health 4:3-5

Her words echo the simple, profound and life-altering message of the man whose teachings continue to challenge and change the world, Christ Jesus.

“Seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33

Or as the JB Phillips translation puts it:

“Set your heart on the kingdom and his goodness,
and all these things will come to you.”

His life work illustrates the power of divine Love to heal and restore bodies; the Love that unmasks and dissolves hatred, evil, injustice, and fear. It includes a promise that we too can recognize our relationship to divine Love and reflect this healing power.

Jesus promised a Comforter to teach us all things—to bring all things to our remembrance. (John 14:26) And Mary Baker Eddy’s discoveries take him at his word.

The teachings of Christian Science explain the palpable reality of spiritual being, the transforming power of the divine laws of Life, Truth and Love, the ever-presence of an all-encompassing God, good.

Christian Science class instruction is much more than a class about healing. It’s about awakening to the spiritual reality of all existence—awakening that brings healing, and includes practical, scientific understanding to help and heal the world.

This 12 day immersion experience is about launching into the deep, following that inner calling and hunger for God, the heart’s protests for something true, just and right for all. It is about spiritual healing: an ongoing commitment to live and love what’s true. It’s also about coming together with others to bring healing to the world.
